Tuition and Pricing

Honest pricing up front. No surprise conversations at the tour. Gifted and Talented Kids is a private program, not a 3-K for All or Pre-K for All site, so tuition is paid monthly.

Monthly Tuition by Program

Little Explorers (Ages 2 to 3). $3,200 per month. Full day, Monday through Thursday 9 AM to 4 PM, Friday 9 AM to 3 PM. Sensory-focused curriculum with small groups.
Bright Minds (Ages 3 to 4). $2,900 per month. Same hours. Project-based learning, curiosity-driven exploration, early pre-reading and number sense.
G and T Ready (Ages 4 to 6). $2,700 per month. Same hours. Kindergarten readiness, reading foundations, math, G and T test skill-building.
After School Enrichment (Ages 5 to 7). $2,200 per month. Pickup from local elementary schools, homework support, enrichment, outdoor play at McGolrick Park.

Discounts

Reserve in November, start in January. 30 percent off. Your child already started this school year somewhere else, and moving them in January costs you something. So we take 30 percent off the monthly rate for families who reserve during November and start with us in January. Ages 4 to 6. Susanna hands you both rate sheets at the Open House, the January one and this one, and you compare them on paper. The six places in the 2 to 3 room carry no discount, that room holds six children and it goes first.
Founding Six. Six places in the two to three year old room with the rate locked for twelve months and a $500 refundable deposit. Details. Once our 40 spots fill, the list closes.
Refer a friend. When a family you refer enrolls, you both move up the priority list for your preferred schedule.
Sibling discount. 10 percent off for families with two children enrolled. 15 percent off for three or more.

Extended Hours

Early drop-off from 8 AM and late pickup until 6 PM are available at $40 per hour. We recommend scheduling these at enrollment if you need them consistently, rather than on a drop-in basis.

What is Included

All teaching and caregiving hours during program hours
Multiple Intelligences curriculum materials and classroom supplies
Daily mid-morning fruit-and-protein snack
Water throughout the day
Outdoor play supervision and transport to McGolrick Park
Daily communication with families (drop off, pickup, short note on your child's day)
Bi-weekly parent update from our Director on your child's progress
Curriculum-based developmental check-ins twice per year

What is Not Included

Lunch. Parents pack lunch daily. Our kitchen is not licensed for food service.
Diapers, wipes, changes of clothing, and comfort items. These are provided by parents.
Outside therapy services (SEIT, speech, OT). These are billed directly by the provider, often covered by insurance or CPSE.
Field trip admissions (most field trips are local park walks, no charge, occasional chaperoned outings may have a small fee).

Payment Schedule

First month's tuition is due 2 weeks before your child's start date. Subsequent months are due on the first of each month. We accept check, ACH bank transfer, and major credit cards (3 percent processing fee applies to credit card payments). Written invoices are provided for families who need receipts for employer dependent care FSA or tax purposes.

Deposits

There is no fee to join our waitlist. When you confirm enrollment, we ask for a $500 refundable deposit to hold your child's spot. This deposit is fully refundable if you withdraw before 30 days prior to your start date, and you get the full amount back if we do not open on schedule. It is applied toward your first month's tuition at enrollment. The six Founding places in the two to three year old room carry their own terms: the deposit comes back in full at any time before opening day. See Founding Six.

What the Money Actually Buys

At these numbers you deserve a straight answer about what is different. Here is the honest list.

Small groups. Capacity across the whole school is 40 children, not 40 per floor. Your child is a face, not a slot.
One Director who knows your child by name. Susanna Isakova runs the program and is reachable directly. Not a front desk, not a regional manager, not a ticket queue. When something is off with your kid, you talk to the person who can actually change it.
8 to 6 coverage. Core hours are 9 to 4 Monday through Thursday and 9 to 3 Friday, with early drop off from 8 AM and late pickup to 6 PM available at $40 per hour. That is a real working parent's day, not a schedule that assumes someone is free at 2:45.
No lottery. You apply, we answer. There is no April notification date deciding your family's year for you.
No reassignment. Your child is not moved to a different site because of enrollment numbers or a seat shortage across the district. You picked this building and this Director, and that is what you get.

Is Our Tier Right for Your Family?

Honest read. NYC 3-K for All and Pre-K for All are free, run by the Department of Education, and genuinely good for a lot of families. If you are choosing between rent and daycare tuition this year, that is what those programs exist for, and we encourage you to apply. If our full-day rate is a real stretch on your household budget, we may not be the right fit this year, and that is okay. You can join our waitlist for a future year, or for After School Enrichment if your child is older. We would rather tell you that now than at a tour.

If a Premium tier is in your range, here is how our pricing actually plays out for the first year of enrollment:

One child in Bright Minds (ages 3 to 4): $2,900 monthly. First year tuition $34,800.
Two siblings (Bright Minds plus Little Explorers): $6,100 monthly base. 10 percent sibling discount brings the monthly bill to $5,490. First year tuition $65,880.
Three or more siblings enrolled: 15 percent sibling discount on the full monthly bill.
Bi-weekly payment schedule available on request for any program.

Financial Aid and Payment Plans

We are a small private program, so large-scale financial aid is not something we offer. For families where tuition is a stretch, we can work out a bi-weekly payment schedule rather than monthly lump sum. If you have a dependent care FSA through your employer, our tuition is eligible. We can provide receipts and tax IDs as needed.
