Our approach. We build the day around Howard Gardner's Multiple Intelligences, eight ways children learn: linguistic, logical, musical, spatial, bodily, interpersonal, intrapersonal, naturalist. Our framework is Discover, Develop, Shine. We watch closely to learn who your child is, grow their natural strengths while building weaker areas, and by kindergarten they can tell you what they are good at and believe it.
What to look for in a Greenpoint daycare
Greenpoint sits on the northern edge of Brooklyn, with McGolrick Park and McCarren Park for outdoor play and the G train and buses to Williamsburg and Long Island City. Daycare options have grown fast in the last three years, which means more choice and harder decisions. On a tour, ask:
- Is the space accessible. Ground floor and step-free versus walkups and stairs.
- How close to an outdoor park. Daily outdoor time is a developmental essential.
- What is the teacher to child ratio at each age group.
- Who is the Director and what is their background.
- Is the curriculum a real framework or a brochure word.
- What happens when your child is having a hard day.
Location and access
16 McGuinness Blvd S, Brooklyn, NY 11222, corner of McGuinness and Broome Street. Four minutes on foot to McGolrick Park for daily outdoor play. We serve families across Greenpoint (11222), Williamsburg (11211), and East Williamsburg (11249). Bus pickup is available for surrounding blocks.

- G and T Ready. Ages 4 to 5. Kindergarten and Gifted and Talented assessment readiness.
- After School Enrichment. Ages 5 to 7. Pickup from local elementary schools, homework support, enrichment.

We are still in construction. Full in-person tours begin once the Certificate of Occupancy is issued. Families on our waitlist get priority enrollment and first tour invitations. No fee, about 30 seconds to sign up.
