G and T Ready. Ages 4 to 5

G and T Ready is our Pre-K program for children ages 4 to 5. By this age, children are ready to read, write, count, and plan their own projects. Our job is to meet them where they are and stretch them without rushing.

Personalized Path to Kindergarten

Every G and T Ready child gets a personalized learning plan. We assess reading readiness, number sense, fine motor skills, and social confidence at entry and every 10 weeks after. The plan shifts as the child grows. No two children leave with the exact same skills, which is how it should be.

Optional NYC G and T Test Support

Families who want their child to take the NYC Gifted and Talented test can opt into test-familiarity activities integrated into the daily rhythm. The core curriculum remains whole-child development. Families who do not want testing receive the same academic depth without the test-specific practice.

Focus Building. Project Continuity.

Our G and T Ready days include longer project blocks than younger classrooms. 45 to 60 minutes of sustained work. Children finish what they start. They learn to push through boredom, ask for help when stuck, and revise their own work. These habits matter more than any single kindergarten-readiness checklist.

Small Group, Real Feedback

Up to 12 children per lead teacher. Every child gets named, specific feedback multiple times per day. No drifting in the back.
