Come See the Space
16 McGuinness Blvd S, Greenpoint, Brooklyn. One day every week from the first week of November, 10 AM to 3 PM. Free, and children are welcome.
You walk the rooms your child would sit in, you meet Director Susanna Isakova, and you ask what you came to ask. We open in January 2027.
What Happens on a Visit
- Walk all four program rooms at your own pace. Finished, with tables and chairs in, and the rest still to come.
- Meet Susanna Isakova, our Director, who has spent 15 plus years in early childhood education.
- See the ground floor entrance, step free from the street, and the walking route to McGolrick Park.
- Get two written rate sheets. The January rate, and the lower one you get if you reserve in November.
- Ask about programs, daily schedule, what to pack, bus pickup, and anything else on your list.
Practical Details
Doors open at 10 AM and we stay until 3 PM. Drop in when it suits you. Ten minutes is fine, so is an hour. Strollers are no problem, the entrance is step free from the street. Bring your child. How a two year old reacts to a room tells you more in one minute than a brochure does in ten.
Fair warning about the rooms. They are painted and finished, and they are close to bare. Tables and chairs are in for the Open House, and the rest of the fit out waits on the health department, because the inspector measures floor area and every piece standing in a room works against the number of children we can take. So you see real walls, real light and the real size of the room, not a staged classroom.
Reserve in November, Start in January
Families who reserve a place during November and start in January pay 30 percent less per month. That is for ages 4 to 6, where your child already started this school year somewhere else and moving in January costs you something. The six places in the 2 to 3 room carry no discount. That room is small, and it goes first.
We run this every week from the first week of November right through to opening. We open in January 2027, and the exact day waits on the last inspection. Waitlist families hear it first.
RSVP
An RSVP is not required, but it helps us plan the room and lets us send you the details the week before.
Rather Talk First?
Susanna runs fifteen minute video calls from the middle of October, for families who cannot get to Greenpoint before November. Ask for one in the box above. Or join the waitlist and we send you the November days as soon as the schedule is set.
