After School Enrichment. Ages 5 to 7

After School Enrichment is for kindergarten and early elementary children (ages 5 to 7) who need a warm, structured place to land after school. We pick up from PS 34, PS 110, PS 31, and nearby elementary schools, and we run a 3 to 6 pm program that is more than babysitting and less than another school day.

Homework First, On Purpose

Children arrive, decompress with a snack, and then tackle homework with a teacher nearby. Most kids finish in 20 to 45 minutes. That means when they get home, the evening is free for family, not for worksheets.

Rotating Enrichment Blocks

After homework, children choose from rotating enrichment blocks that change monthly:

• Coding. Beginner block-based programming on kid-friendly tablets.
• Chess. From piece movement to first tournaments.
• Visual arts. Drawing, painting, clay, collage.
• Music. Ukulele, rhythm, songwriting.
• Outdoor play at McGolrick Park on weather-appropriate days.

School Pickup

We walk or shuttle children from their school to our McGuinness Blvd S space. Pickup logistics and safety checkpoints are confirmed with families during enrollment.

Snack and Hydration

Nut-free snacks and water provided. Families share allergy and dietary information at enrollment.

Pickup Flexibility

Pickup is available between 5 and 6:30 pm. Late pickup until 6:30 included. Later than that requires 24 hour notice and is charged separately.
