The room for two and three year olds holds six children with one teacher and an assistant. Six is the whole room. First six families to take a place get terms nobody after them gets.

What the Six Get

• Your rate stays flat for twelve months. Whatever Susanna quotes you at the Open House is what you pay for a full year, even when tuition moves for everyone else.
• The place is yours by name. Six children, six names on a list, no reshuffling later.
• The $500 deposit comes back. Change your mind at any time before opening day and you get all of it back. Stay and it goes toward your first month.
• If we open later than we told you, you get all of it back. The month we name is January 2027. Miss it and your $500 comes back in full. No forms, no argument.

How It Works

Two steps, in this order.

1. Stand in the room. Free, at the Open House, one day every week from the first week of November. You walk the space with Director Susanna Isakova and stand where your child would sit.
2. Then the deposit. If you want the place after that, $500 holds it.

You don't pay before you see the space. Nobody takes a deposit over the phone.

Six Children, One Teacher

Six is the cap for this age and this room. It's still six next year and the year after, so the group your child starts in is the group your child finishes in. Our other two rooms hold ten and twenty four. Building takes 40 in total, which is small for Greenpoint, and that's on purpose.

Safety

• Camera outside the front door. Whoever rings is on screen before that door opens.
• Electronic lock on the street door, and a second door inside on the same lock.
• Three doors sit between a child and the sidewalk, with an adult standing on the path.
• Push bars on the doors, so a teacher with a child in both arms gets out with a shove.

Who Runs the Room

Susanna Isakova is our Director. 15 plus years in early childhood education and special education. She runs the school, and she walks families through it herself, so the person showing you the room is the one who's answerable for it.

Hours and Address

Monday through Thursday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Friday 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Early drop off from 8:00 AM and late pickup until 6:00 PM for an added fee. We're at 16 McGuinness Blvd S in Greenpoint, corner of Broom Street, step free entrance. This is the Little Explorers room, and we're enrolling it now, ahead of our November Open House.
